I never planned to have
a Foundation. I just knew
that I didn't want any
woman to go through
what I went through.

After life knocked me down in 2018, I lost everything I held dear and had to start life from scratch.
I surrendered my life to God afresh, presenting myself as a living sacrifice and trusting him to fix me...following him as led...

One day…I heard these words :

“For there is hope for a tree, If it is cut down, that it will sprout again, And that its tender shoots will not cease. Though its root may grow old in the earth, And its stump may die in the ground, Yet at the scent of water it will bud And bring forth branches like a plant”.

In 2020, I had a leading to pay the school fees of the children of a distressed woman and to be honest, I was hesitant because I had the school fees of my own children and other bills to deal with, but I obeyed.

That same year, I had an encounter with God where I heard the words "live again" and as I gained clarity, I realised that God was calling me to help women live again, I had fallen and gotten back up to help women who had fallen to also get back up.

I started to teach, guide, counsel and support women to live again purposefully especially women going through abuse and domestic violence like I did.

Not long after, I was led to set up a shelter for these women and one of the requirements was having a registered NGO. On the 4th of December, 2021, the Live Again Empowerment Foundation became fully registered under the Corporate Affairs commission of Nigeria as a fully registered NGO.
